Terms & Conditions

1. General Terms

This rental agreement is between Shubham Keshri (Shubh-safar) and the customer renting the vehicle. These terms govern all bookings made through our website, support channels, or direct confirmations.

2. Definitions & Scope

• Company: Shubh-safar and its authorized operations team.
• Vehicle: The car assigned for the confirmed rental period.
• Customer: The person who books and takes possession of the vehicle.
• Rental Period: Start and end time mentioned in booking confirmation.
• Security Deposit: Refundable amount subject to deductions if applicable.

3. Eligibility & Documents

• Driver must hold a valid driving license and accepted identity proof.
• Customer details provided during booking must be accurate and verifiable.
• Company may deny or cancel booking if verification fails.

4. Vehicle Usage Rules

• Drive responsibly and follow all traffic and safety regulations.
• No driving under influence, reckless driving, or unauthorized driver handover.
• No racing, overloading, towing, off-road abuse, or unlawful activity.
• No commercial/ride-sharing/taxi use unless approved in writing.
• Cross-state travel requires prior approval where applicable.

5. Booking, Payments & Extensions

• Booking is confirmed only after applicable payment/token confirmation.
• Balance rental amount and deposit (if any) must be paid before handover.
• Extension requests must be raised before booking end time and may be chargeable.
• Unapproved delay can attract late-return penalties.

6. Fuel, Toll & Mileage

Vehicle should be returned with fuel level matching delivery conditions unless otherwise stated. Tolls, parking, challans, and extra mileage charges (if any) are borne by the customer.

7. Damage, Theft & Liability

• Customer is responsible for damage caused during possession of the vehicle.
• Minor repairs may be recovered from deposit or billed separately.
• In major accidents/theft, insurance process may apply, but non-covered losses, downtime, and claim-related liabilities may be chargeable.
• GPS/device tampering is treated as a serious violation.

8. Vehicle Return & Inspection

Return the vehicle in reasonably clean condition and with all supplied accessories. A standard inspection is performed at return. Reported issues after handover are reviewed as per operational policy timelines.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund outcomes depend on cancellation timing, payment status, and operational commitments already made for your booking. Support team decisions follow the active cancellation policy.

10. Legal Compliance

Any legal violation, seizure risk, or criminal use during rental period remains the customer's sole responsibility. The company may share information with authorities when required by law.

11. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by applicable Indian laws, and disputes are subject to jurisdiction in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

12. Acceptance

By placing a booking and/or using the vehicle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
